What you will do

• Lead comprehensive health services, including medical examinations, walk-in care, patient assessment, triage, treatment, immunizations, and emergency response.
• Coordinate 24-hour emergency coverage, off-center specialist referrals, and relationships with local medical, dental, mental health, and inpatient care providers.
• Oversee wellness programs covering substance-use assessment and prevention, reproductive health, weight management, disability accommodations, and student health education.
• Manage health service staffing, professional standards, medication administration, medical records, supplies, equipment, and expenditures.
• Implement infection control and OSHA measures, standing orders, orientation, quality assurance activities, record audits, and required health service reports.
• Act as the health services liaison to the Center Director, management team, and other center departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a four-year college or university.
• At least four years of nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
• One or two years of related experience or training.
• Current state professional nurse license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification and a valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to work in Louisville, Kentucky, USA.
