Data Senior Analyst (Banking)

Location: In office at 555 South Flower Street, Los Angeles, California, or Charlotte, North Carolina, United States

Salary: $87,000–$153,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Lead data discovery, exploration, investigation, and impact assessments across banking data pipelines.
• Conduct data profiling and preparation, identify gaps, and qualify data for delivery.
• Validate data against requirements and success criteria, using entity relationship and data flow diagrams.
• Research business processes and document inconsistent, incomplete, misinterpreted, or misclassified data.
• Identify data sources, map source-to-target data, manage metadata catalogs, and guide integration across sources and targets.
• Mentor colleagues, manage complex programs and projects, and advise senior leaders and external partners on analytics capabilities and priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 6+ years of relevant data analysis or analytics experience in the banking industry.
• Advanced senior-level professional experience resolving complex issues using specialized expertise.
• Ability to report to a designated City National location; this is not a fully remote role.
