Segment Data Officer - 3

Location: Columbus, OH; office workplace type

Salary: $125,000–$255,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead data governance and management execution within a business segment.
• Own critical data elements and drive improvements in data quality, metadata, business definitions, lineage, and reference data.
• Ensure segment data is fit for regulatory and management reporting.
• Prioritize data and analytics-related issues and requests and approve segment-level data decisions.
• Manage data-related controls and collaborate with enterprise data leaders, data trustees, curators, and technology partners.
• Partner with the data literacy leader to improve data literacy across the segment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of work experience in a data environment.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing data management and governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of legal, compliance, and regulatory issues affecting data.
• Experience with data governance policies, standards, metrics, controls, and processes.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, partnership, written communication, and verbal communication skills.

• 5+ years of experience leading data-related projects or programs.
• Experience building teams and managing others.
• Experience as a hands-on manager leading and growing successful teams.
