QC In-Line Inspector

Location: Fremont, California, United States; onsite lab environment. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on operational needs.

Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour plus a 10% shift differential.

What you will do

• Perform in-process and final visual inspections of raw, metalized, and patterned ceramic substrates.
• Use stereo zoom and high-power microscopes, calipers, micrometers, gauges, rulers, and other inspection tools.
• Read diagrams and specifications, measure products, and accept or reject finished products according to quality standards.
• Interpret, report, and discuss inspection and test data with responsible personnel.
• Meet production goals and provide basic training and support to new QA team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of quality assurance inspection experience.
• Technical knowledge of basic inspection tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and microscopes.
• Good computer skills and data-entry experience, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic written and verbal English communication skills required.
• Manual dexterity, visual acuity, problem-solving ability, and the ability to prioritize work in a changing environment.

Nice to have

• MIC hybrid circuit inspection or MIC assembly experience.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices and safety procedures.
• Experience working for an ISO 9000-certified company.
