QA Associate - Laboratories

Location: USA-VA-Richmond-Reymet Rd; onsite laboratory and office environment

Hourly compensation: $20.00–$23.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Verify laboratory supply equipment and review logbooks, bench sheets, and data for Good Documentation Practices compliance.
• Collect and interpret quality control data, create control charts, audit sample reports, and identify laboratory performance trends.
• Initiate and track non-conformances, CAPA, corrective actions, and root cause analyses.
• Conduct internal audits, prepare audit checklists and reports, follow up on findings, and support external audits.
• Draft, review, and revise SOPs, work instructions, forms, and other controlled documents.
• Deliver training on GDP, ethics, data integrity, safety, and technical procedures while maintaining training and competency records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific field, or a combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least 1 year of relevant laboratory or quality assurance experience.
• Knowledge of scientific terminology, analytical laboratory procedures, laboratory safety, and the physical and chemical principles behind testing methods.
• Experience with LIMS, Microsoft Office, and data visualization tools for reports and graphs.
• Strong written and verbal communication, proofreading, organization, prioritization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain composure in a fast-paced, quality-focused laboratory environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with TNI 2016, ISO 17025, GDP, CAPA, or RCA.
• Conflict resolution and organizational communication skills.
