TL;DR
Digital Content Editor (CMS/Content Management): Creating, editing, and maintaining accurate, accessible content for the HouseNet intranet and related digital service portals with an accent on enterprise CMS management, content standards, and collaboration with multidisciplinary product teams. Focus on rewriting web pages, coordinating with subject matter experts, tracking content projects in ClickUp, and performing quality assurance editing.

Location: Onsite in Washington, DC

What you will do

  • Create, edit, revise, and maintain content for the HouseNet intranet and other service portals.
  • Write customer communications, project documentation, and clear content covering financial services, information technology, legislative services, and other topics.
  • Collaborate with content leads, product managers, developers, designers, subject matter experts, business owners, technology partners, and service providers.
  • Apply content revision instructions, style guidelines, and service model standards to web pages.
  • Track assignments and deadlines using ClickUp and support Agile development activities.
  • Review peer content as a quality assurance editor and contribute to special projects and customer experience initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or 4–5 years of relevant experience in web content writing, editing, content management, or digital editing.
  • Experience with large enterprise content management systems such as Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, or SharePoint.
  • Experience working on product development teams with developers, designers, stakeholders, and business owners.
  • Experience with waterfall through Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, project documentation experience, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Teams and SharePoint, plus experience in web design, information architecture, UX, or UI design.
