Location: 300 Mount Auburn St, Cambridge, Massachusetts; 100% onsite. Night schedule: 7 p.m.–7 a.m., 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends.
Salary: $50,000–$62,853.73 per year.

What you will do
- Provide basic direct care and daily living support, including hygiene, bathing, toileting, dressing, mobility, feeding, positioning, transport, and admission or discharge assistance.
- Collect and document vital signs, pulse oximetry, blood glucose, ECGs, intake and output, bladder scans, and patient specimens.
- Report changes in patient status and abnormal findings promptly to the registered or licensed nurse.
- Prepare and maintain patient care equipment and a clean environment while following infection prevention and safe handling procedures.
- Support patient safety through hourly rounding, call-light response, observation, privacy protection, and respectful communication.
- Document care in the electronic medical record and collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience as a clinical assistant, nursing assistant, patient care technician, medical assistant, EMT, or equivalent.
- Nursing assistant certification required upon hire, unless qualified nursing students have completed fundamentals of nursing with a clinical component.
- Basic Life Support or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required upon hire.
- English proficiency sufficient to read, speak, and write accurately.
- Basic computer and math skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to safely lift and transport patients up to 35 pounds.
