What you will do

• Provide accurate, real-time inbound medical translation between English and Spanish.
• Translate healthcare conversations while preserving meaning, context, and terminology.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow applicable privacy and data security standards.
• Communicate professionally and empathetically with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Follow project workflows and quality standards, and complete documentation and reporting.
• Complete required training and certification activities before deployment.

Requirements

• B2–C1 proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology in both languages.
• Excellent listening, comprehension, communication, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in sensitive situations and work independently.
• Suitable remote workspace, reliable computer, stable high-speed internet, and an approved headset if required.
• Successful completion of three weeks of self-paced training, assessments, and client certification is required.

Nice to have

• Background or formal education in medicine, healthcare, nursing, pharmacy, or allied health.
• Medical interpretation, medical translation, or healthcare language certification.
• Experience in customer support, healthcare operations, or clinical environments.
