Test Engineer (Electronics)

Location: Penang, Malaysia; onsite

What you will do

• Lead and monitor technicians during end-to-end debugging, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of test programs and equipment.
• Prepare SOP documentation for debugging test jigs and support the resolution of quality issues.
• Manage test programs, test data, and test standardization.
• Follow quality procedures to deliver quality products and services.
• Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives while working independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Degree or master’s degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Robotic Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of demonstrated experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering design documents, including schematics and drawings.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic circuits and wire lists.
• Technical experience with diagnostic, debugging, and troubleshooting support for test programs.
• Strong organization, planning, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in electrical and electronic testing.
• Experience operating oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Basic circuit design experience.
