Head of Product Unit Guided Systems – Ground Combat (Defense)

Location: Karlskoga, Sweden. The position is based in Sweden and requires national and international travel.

What you will do

• Lead the strategic direction, profitability, growth, and long-term sustainability of the Guided Systems Product Unit.
• Own the unit’s full P&L, including order intake and business performance.
• Lead the development of the next-generation product portfolio and manage the full product lifecycle from development and introduction through delivery and continued evolution.
• Represent and strengthen Ground Combat’s position with national and international customers, industrial partners, and stakeholders.
• Build strong customer relationships in collaboration with hirify.global Group functions and relevant partners.
• Develop the organization, capabilities, and leadership needed to support continued growth.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading and developing complex international businesses and partner-based operations.
• Experience with complex product development, systems development, or system-of-systems environments, preferably in a technology-intensive industry.
• Demonstrated success in driving growth, profitability, strategic business development, and international supply chains.
• Strong people leadership and organizational development skills, with a coaching mindset.
• Ability to translate strategy into clear priorities and drive execution in a matrix organization.
• Successful completion of security vetting is required; additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance.
