Location: Laredo, Texas, United States; on-campus and face-to-face attendance required

What you will do

• Create individualized, student-centered educational plans.
• Advise students during or before their first year on academic planning and career exploration.
• Explain curricula, academic policies, major-to-career relationships, and financial aid processes.
• Develop class schedules based on student needs and prior preparation.
• Lead early intervention and follow-up for assigned students.
• Connect students experiencing academic, financial, career, or social challenges with appropriate campus resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• No prior experience required.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Regular attendance on campus and in the workplace is required; evening and weekend work may be required.
