Location: College Station, Texas, United States; assigned to a specific high school after training, with travel to other high schools and occasional evening and weekend events.
Salary: $16.39 per hour (non-negotiable).

What you will do
- Provide one-on-one admissions, scholarship, and financial-aid guidance to high school students and families.
- Create college application and financial-aid timelines and help students complete and submit applications.
- Explain college admission decisions, financial-aid offers, and related correspondence.
- Organize and deliver college-planning events, classroom visits, assemblies, and club presentations.
- Build productive relationships with principals, counselors, teachers, community groups, and service providers.
- Track progress and outcomes, submit monthly reports, support program evaluation, and assist other advisers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an institution in the state of Texas.
- No prior experience required.
- Ability to work in College Station and travel to assigned high schools and other program locations.
- Availability for approximately four weeks of residential training each summer on the Texas A&M campus.
- Strong English literacy, communication, interpersonal, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with high school students, manage multiple urgent tasks, and work occasional evening and weekend events.

- Experience working with high school students.
- Experience with admissions or financial aid.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills.
