Senior Software Engineer (AI/LLM)

Location: Lund, Sweden; hybrid work with on-site attendance at least three days per week

hirify.global develops the Elevate platform, which uses AI-powered product knowledge to support search, recommendations, and navigation.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the Classifier service in Java.
• Scale an LLM-based product classification pipeline into production while managing cost as data volumes grow.
• Build semantically enriched product classification and map product data into a Knowledge Graph.
• Extend enrichment capabilities from text to images.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, technical decisions, and the team’s technical roadmap.
• Prototype and evaluate technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Senior-level software development experience with hands-on coding.
• Experience working in cloud environments.
• Experience with machine learning, knowledge graph structures, NLP, and LLM models.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable industry career.
• Ability to consider production performance, cost, precision, recall, automation, and control.
