Business Technology Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid role based in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Princeton, Chicago, Evanston, or Bethesda, United States, with on-site presence at client or hirify.global offices and travel as required.

Salary: $200,000–$229,500 per year

What you will do

• Build and support applications that improve data management, patient care, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and hospital and health system clients to design and implement technology solutions.
• Translate business problems into technical designs and validate approaches with technical architects.
• Lead project modules and workstreams while contributing to hands-on implementation and end-to-end delivery.
• Guide business cases, solution visions, requirements, prototypes, architectures, test cases, deployment plans, and operations strategies.
• Manage, mentor, and coach a diverse team while supporting planning, staffing, risk mitigation, and project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience delivering small- or medium-scale technology solutions; healthcare or EHR experience is preferred.
• Experience leading project teams, managing end-to-end activities, meeting milestones, and mentoring team members.
• Strong knowledge of relational database concepts, SQL, data warehousing, and reporting.
• Experience with big data concepts, data management, data analytics, cloud platforms, Python, algorithms, and data structures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, logical structuring of complex topics, and ability to work in a virtual global team environment.
