What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of data platform engineers.
• Define strategic plans and technical roadmaps for data platforms.
• Oversee cloud-based data engineering pipelines and integrations across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
• Develop event-driven architectures, CDC frameworks, data lake ingestion pipelines, and scalable ETL/ELT processes across AWS and Azure.
• Collaborate with data product delivery, architecture, data integration, DevOps, and data governance stakeholders.
• Manage Apache Hudi data lakes for near-real-time processing and incremental data loading, while implementing Terraform for secure infrastructure versioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related subject.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience with cloud-based data warehouse or data lake platforms.
• Experience leading Data & Analytics programs and teams in product development environments.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, data security, business process flows, and entity relationship modeling.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CDK, AWS Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, EventBridge, Kinesis, Route 53, S3, AWS DMS, Apache Hudi, Apache Spark, PySpark, Amazon EMR, Python, IBM DataStage, Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Synapse.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills, including experience in a global matrix environment.
