Enterprise Architect (Life Sciences)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working model combining work from home with on-site presence at client and hirify.global offices for the majority of the week. Client-facing work requires willingness to travel.

What you will do

• Co-lead the growth and development of the technology advisory and digital architecture practice.
• Lead technology consulting engagements and support technology-enabled transformations for clients.
• Develop enterprise and conceptual architectures, architecture blueprints, technology capabilities, and technology strategies.
• Build client relationships, identify opportunities, create proposals, and support go-to-market and business development activities.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering and consulting teams, providing coaching and resolving conflicts.
• Author whitepapers and points of view while representing the practice with clients and firm leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a master’s degree in a relevant technology field such as data, AI, or computer applications.
• 10–12+ years of experience in technology and/or architectural consulting, including architecture, software engineering, data, and analytics.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or another similarly regulated environment is required.
• Hands-on experience leading development projects and engineering teams, managing transformation programs, and overseeing project SDLC activities.
• Knowledge of enterprise, solution, reference, information, and integration architecture, along with cloud, on-premises infrastructure, and security.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, project management, leadership, and mentoring skills; fluency in relevant languages and understanding of EU work culture are required.

• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements in life sciences and healthcare.
• Experience with RFPs, pricing strategies, onshore-offshore delivery models, staff augmentation, and vendor contracting.
• Interest in market trends, emerging technologies, and evolving architectural practices.
