Engineering Manager - Foundations & Enablement

What you will do

• Lead and support a cross-functional Foundations & Enablement engineering team, focusing on delivery, people development, and process improvement.
• Balance the team’s technical roadmap with prioritized requests from multiple product teams and communicate trade-offs clearly.
• Maintain engineering-wide standards for security, tooling, CI/CD, developer experience, and shared platform capabilities.
• Partner with the Infrastructure team on shared platform concerns and establish clear ownership boundaries.
• Mentor engineers, run one-on-ones, support technical decisions, and promote active coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Own hiring and onboarding, define delivery estimates, monitor progress, and help resolve blockers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in advanced software development, including 2+ years in engineering leadership.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Technical range across frontend and backend engineering sufficient to support a mixed-discipline team.
• Hands-on experience with scalability, reliability, observability, security, testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and incident response.
• Experience owning platform, DevOps, security, or developer-tooling initiatives and guiding senior and staff engineers.
• Strong communication, organizational, stakeholder-management, prioritization, and delivery-leadership skills.
