Business Technology Solutions Manager (Pharma)

Location: Bethesda, Maryland, United States; hybrid model with work from home and on-site presence at clients or hirify.global offices

Salary: $200,000–$229,500 per year

What you will do

• Drive growth and end-to-end delivery of technology solutions for commercial pharma clients across 1–3 key East Coast accounts.
• Manage multiple projects, provide project leadership, and serve as the primary client advisor and escalation point.
• Coordinate onshore, offshore, and global teams across BI reporting, analytics, AI, digital, big data, cloud, and MDM capabilities.
• Develop estimates, capacity plans, delivery strategies, project status reports, and risk mitigation plans using Agile concepts and hirify.global methodology.
• Ensure robust, scalable technical designs while balancing architecture standards with client requirements.
• Build client relationships, identify additional opportunities, present technology perspectives, and mentor cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant hands-on IT services or consulting experience leading medium- to large-scale technology solution delivery engagements.
• At least 5 years of experience leading large delivery teams.
• Experience managing multiple projects and virtual global teams simultaneously.
• Extensive experience with big data and cloud technologies.
• Strong client communication, supervision, coaching, and hands-on project management skills; willingness to travel to global offices and client locations as needed.

Nice to have

• Certifications in cloud platforms, project management, data and analytics, AI/ML, or enterprise architecture.
• Experience developing points of view on emerging technology, problem solving, innovation, and firm intellectual capital.
