Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, United States; on-site, 3rd shift

What you will do

• Install, monitor, modify, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and facilities systems.
• Perform reactive maintenance using electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
• Perform preventive maintenance and help schedule PM activities for production equipment.
• Identify equipment improvement opportunities and modify equipment to correct improper operation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, customers, suppliers, and equipment vendors to resolve equipment and process issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, manage spare-parts inventory, and support technician training.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Automation or Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent skills.
• Three years of applicable experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong background in electrical and electronics systems, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex equipment; basic Microsoft Windows knowledge is preferred.
• Access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents.

Nice to have

• Ability to weld different metals and plastics.
• Experience operating a machine mill and lathe.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
