Manufacturing Technician III, Mechanic (Visual Inspection - Night Shift)

Location: USA - OH - Blue Ash; onsite manufacturing-floor role. Initially Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts; eventually transitioning to a night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM on a 2-2-3 rotation.

Salary: $24.00–$38.00 per hour, depending on location, experience, qualifications, skills, and knowledge.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain visual inspection and packaging equipment.
• Perform start-up activities, manual packaging, line clearances, and light material handling.
• Provide first-line technical support to production technicians and perform preventive maintenance.
• Interpret schematics and maintenance manuals to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Execute equipment qualification and process validation protocols.
• Complete batch records, GMP documentation, CMMS entries, quality checks, and process improvement activities.

Requirements

• Experience with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or preventive maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Progressive experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cGMP-regulated manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations, documentation practices, deviation reporting, and data integrity.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude, including the ability to interpret schematics and maintenance manuals.
• Ability to independently execute procedures, troubleshoot routine issues, and review batch records, CMMS entries, and controlled documentation.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is required.

Nice to have

• High school, vocational school, or equivalent education.
• 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cGMP-regulated manufacturing.
• Lean manufacturing experience and prior OJT trainer experience.
• Experience with Microsoft applications, SAP, or Veeva Vault.
