TL;DR
Digital Site Shopfloor Expert (MES/IIoT and OT/IT cybersecurity): Deploying and supporting shopfloor digital solutions, including MES, SCADA, IIoT platforms, equipment connectivity, automation systems, and laboratory systems, with an accent on manufacturing operations, OT/IT convergence, and GxP-regulated computerized systems. Focus on implementing digital projects, assessing industrial cybersecurity and IS/OT risks, supporting CSV/CSA compliance, and optimizing connected manufacturing systems for the Hangzhou pilot site.
Location: Hangzhou, China; onsite shopfloor role

What you will do
- Serve as the primary onsite Digital representative and contact for shopfloor Digital topics.
- Lead and support deployment of MES, BMS/EMS, IIoT platforms, equipment connectivity, automation, SCADA, OT networks, and laboratory systems.
- Implement global and local Digital projects and represent site shopfloor requirements in global program design and deployment.
- Maintain and optimize shopfloor, office, email, BI/KPI, dashboard, and IIoT systems for local use.
- Assess IS/OT risks with Engineering, Automation, and Quality teams, define CAPAs, and maintain application and automation asset inventories.
- Support Digital and IS audits, inspections, business continuity, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity monitoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience with IT/OT systems, preferably in pharmaceutical or industrial manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with MES, SCADA, DCS, IIoT platforms, or industrial automation systems.
- Strong knowledge of OT/IT convergence, industrial cybersecurity, and GxP regulations, including CSV/CSA.
- Fluent written and spoken English required.
- Strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Werum PAS-X, Rockwell, Siemens, or IIoT/connectivity tools.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, Digital Twin, Big Data, Cloud, or AI/ML applications in manufacturing.
- PMP or an equivalent project management certification.
