Associate Fixed Income Research Analyst - Emerging Market Corporate Bonds

Location: London, United Kingdom; office attendance required at least four days per week, with up to one day per week working from home.

What you will do

• Perform in-depth sector and corporate bond security analysis across emerging markets.
• Analyze industry trends and integrate quantitative and qualitative data into actionable investment and portfolio recommendations.
• Develop data management tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the investment process.
• Monitor existing holdings and contribute to discussions on investment performance and process.
• Collaborate with emerging market sovereign analysts and other fixed income and asset-class teams to frame corporate recommendations in country context.
• Interact with issuers and dealers, attend meetings and conferences, and support independent and group research projects.

Requirements

• Strong interest in emerging market debt and the investment management industry.
• Strong data analysis, quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills.
• Ability to develop portfolio recommendations and communicate ideas effectively.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office tools.
• BA or BS degree.
• Ability to work in the London office at least four days per week.

Nice to have

• Prior relevant experience.
• Experience querying and cleaning data from database systems using SQL.
• Experience with Python, SQL, or AWS.
