Director – Manager Research, Multi-Manager Solutions (Fixed Income)

What you will do

• Lead fixed income manager research, selection and ongoing due diligence across high yield, investment grade credit, structured products and emerging markets debt.
• Conduct detailed discussions with chief investment officers, portfolio managers, analysts, traders and other senior professionals at investment firms.
• Deliver evidence-based hire, retain and terminate recommendations to internal decision-making and governance groups.
• Present investment ideas and portfolio reviews to institutional clients and work with clients and consultants on investment guidelines and research parameters.
• Support portfolio construction through analysis of duration positioning, yield curve exposure, sector allocation and risk factors.
• Monitor external managers and multi-manager portfolios while improving quantitative screening, reporting and analytical tools.

Requirements

• Experience independently leading fixed income manager searches, selection activity and ongoing oversight.
• Deep knowledge of fixed income investing, including rates, credit, securitized markets and emerging markets debt.
• Familiarity with European and United States fund requirements.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, Aladdin, eVestment, Morningstar and relevant investment research platforms.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex investment concepts clearly.
• Confidence influencing senior professionals across asset managers, consultants, clients and internal governance groups.

Nice to have

• Progress toward or completion of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
• Advanced degree in finance, business administration or a related field.
