Business Intelligence Developer Internship - Summer 2027 (Insurance)

What you will do

• Create reports, data extracts, and analyses for business functions and inquiries.
• Build, maintain, and document code for transforming, aggregating, and presenting data.
• Apply tools and techniques for designing and implementing business intelligence solutions.
• Develop an understanding of data sources and data flows.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and participate in formal and informal training.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related quantitative discipline, with at least two years of coursework completed.
• Master's students are considered if graduation is August 2027 or later.
• Strong aptitude for mathematics and statistics.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL, Python, or other programming, database, or statistical languages.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and dashboarding solutions; proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Nice to have

• Actuarial studies or completed actuarial exams.
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to constant change and innovation.
