What you will do
- Own support channels, triage incoming requests, and coordinate routing and stakeholder communication.
- Maintain report subscriptions, data quality checks, environment health monitoring, and other recurring operational responsibilities.
- Automate routine maintenance, alerting, and cross-team request workflows.
- Perform QA testing, prepare release notes, and communicate release timelines before deployment.
- Fulfill ad hoc data requests, support lightweight analysis, and monitor solution utilization trends.
- Contribute to ETL/ELT, cloud data warehouses, cloud infrastructure, data governance, semantic datasets, reporting, and CI/CD solutions.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Foundational knowledge of data engineering concepts and database systems, with functional proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP; Power BI or Tableau; and Databricks, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
- Familiarity with object-oriented or functional programming paradigms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills for working with technical and business stakeholders.
