Senior Fund Administrator - Reconciliation (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of fund cash and securities accounts.
• Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and coordinate resolutions with custodians, administrators, banks, and internal stakeholders.
• Record and verify trades, income, distributions, fees, and other fund-related transactions.
• Prepare and review fund performance reports, financial statements, reconciled summaries, and outstanding-item reports.
• Maintain operational controls, audit trails, client SLA compliance, and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Improve reconciliation and EFT processes, maintain documentation, and mentor newer team members.

Requirements

• Tertiary financial qualification with an accounting background or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in scrip or cash reconciliations.
• Knowledge of financial markets and instruments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
• Proof of eligibility to work in South Africa and completion of background verification checks are required.
