What you will do

• Plan and coordinate project tasks supporting target identification, validation, and progression in inflammation discovery programs.
• Design, execute, analyze, and interpret wet-lab studies investigating disease mechanisms and therapeutic hypotheses.
• Apply computational, AI-enabled, and data-analytic approaches to generate mechanistic insights and refine experimental design.
• Integrate experimental findings with published literature, human genetics, clinical observations, and internal or external datasets.
• Develop solutions to advanced technical problems and communicate scientific recommendations to work groups and project teams.
• Collaborate with wet-lab, computational, translational, and drug-discovery partners, while coaching colleagues where appropriate.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, or a master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant fields include immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, pharmacology, biomedical sciences, computational biology, and bioengineering.
• Advanced understanding of inflammation and immunology research principles and concepts.
• Experience designing, executing, analyzing, and interpreting studies for target discovery, validation, or mechanistic biology.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, make independent decisions, manage defined project components, and communicate scientific information clearly.
• Experience collaborating across functions or departments and contributing to project-team goals.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-enabled scientific tools, computational biology, advanced data analytics, or multimodal data integration.
• Knowledge of translational science, human genetics, clinical biology, drug discovery, or data science.
