Manager Epic Cadence/Reporting (Epic/EHR business analysis): Leading Epic business analysts and trainers while optimizing clinical and business workflows, delivering enterprise platform solutions, and maintaining stable support operations with an accent on requirements facilitation, workflow redesign, and release governance. Focus on supervising teams, coordinating EHR implementations and upgrades, managing ITSM processes, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant integrations and operational reliability.

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid with 2–3 days onsite per week

Salary: $117,200–$134,100 per year

What you will do

  • Lead Epic business analysts and trainers by setting goals, managing performance and capacity, and developing career paths.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and workflow design, and oversee Epic configuration, documentation, testing, releases, cutovers, and go-lives.
  • Manage tiered support operations, service-level agreements, triage, problem management, queue health, and root-cause elimination.
  • Coordinate integration and cross-application work with technical teams to protect data integrity and operational safety.
  • Oversee role-based training and change enablement aligned with system updates and go-lives.
  • Manage governance, change control, privacy, security, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, vendors, and delivery risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or Healthcare.
  • 5–7 years of healthcare operations/IT business analysis or systems optimization experience in clinical or revenue cycle domains.
  • At least 3 years of formal or matrix leadership experience.
  • Experience delivering a full lifecycle EHR or comparable enterprise platform implementation, plus multiple upgrade or optimization cycles.
  • Hands-on experience with requirements facilitation, workflow redesign, testing/UAT, release and cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and ITSM practices, including requirements mapping, testing, change control, and incident/problem management.
