Assembly Technician (Microscopy)

What you will do

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot instruments according to defined methods, operating sequences, cycle times, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Support daily production output and meet scheduled manufacturing targets.
• Independently resolve routine production and technical issues, escalating complex problems to engineers.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and uphold good workmanship standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of assembly and production processes.

Requirements

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Multiple years of relevant experience in an assembly, production, or manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot instruments at the instrument level in a production setting.
• Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on routine technical issues.
