Sr Manufacturing Technician (cGMP Biologics)

What you will do

• Operate production equipment and perform processing steps in accordance with manufacturing instructions, SOPs, and current GMPs.
• Complete production documentation, revise SOPs, and generate work orders.
• Maintain safe, clean, orderly, and adequately stocked manufacturing areas.
• Perform in-process analytical testing and troubleshoot basic mechanical operations.
• Use process automation systems including INFOR, MES, ERP, and DeltaV.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing Engineering, MSIT, Validation, and other support functions; mentor less experienced operators.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus at least 1 year of experience in a cGxP manufacturing environment, or a biotech certificate/associate degree plus at least 6 months of relevant experience, including internships, co-ops, or laboratory work.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, aseptic techniques, manufacturing documentation, and production processes.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, with possible overtime, off-shift hours, and assignments across multiple buildings or departments.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., bend, lift, move objects, and stand for up to 8 hours per day.
• For applicable production areas, ability to receive the required influenza vaccine and obtain and maintain aseptic gowning qualification.
• Applicants must be residents of the United States or Puerto Rico.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology or a related field with 6 months of educational experience.
• Experience using process automation systems, particularly DeltaV.
