Enterprise Data Strategy Lead

Salary: $100,500–$145,166.66 per year, commensurate with demonstrated experience.

What you will do

• Define the enterprise data strategy and develop multi-year roadmaps that prioritize insight and analytics generation across business functions.
• Partner with R&D, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Safety, Brand, Market Access, and Launch Excellence stakeholders to identify and prioritize data requirements and use cases.
• Evaluate commercial and real-world data sources, including claims, EMR/EHR, specialty pharmacy, CRM, registries, social listening, and competitive intelligence platforms.
• Conduct enterprise data and analytics capability assessments and gap analyses.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and investment governance with Digital and Procurement to optimize data investments and prevent duplication.
• Translate complex data needs into standards, strategic priorities, and roadmaps supporting brand performance, market access, launch readiness, regulatory submissions, and pipeline strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, data science, business, health informatics, epidemiology, life sciences, or related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 4 years of pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry experience, including significant experience in go-to-market insights and analytics, Launch Excellence, or Market Access.
• At least 2 years of experience in data strategy, go-to-market data strategy, launch readiness strategy, new product data strategy, or RWD/RWE leadership.
• Experience delivering enterprise data strategies, conducting data needs assessments and gap analyses, and developing strategic roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of commercial data ecosystems, market access analytics, regulatory considerations for real-world evidence, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with data models and standards such as OHDSI OMOP, cloud data platforms, SQL or Python, and AI/ML/LLM applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with IQVIA, STATinMED, Merative, TriNetX, AlphaSense, Clarivate, Evaluate, or Citeline.
• Therapeutic-area expertise in immunology, rare disease, hematology-oncology, Type 1 diabetes, transplant, or specialty care.
• Experience with patient journey and funnel analytics, segmentation, forecasting, comparative effectiveness research, NLP, or signal detection.
• Hands-on analytics or data engineering experience and familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools.
