Trade Marketing Executive (Retail)

What you will do

• Monitor business, category, customer, and performance data to identify opportunities for new or changing activity.
• Manage responsive onsite areas, including the Homepage and Offers Zone, and optimise live activity based on trading performance.
• Coordinate promotional activity across Category, Commercial, Onsite Merchandising, Creative, and Marketing teams.
• Create accurate Jira briefs with clear requirements, rationale, and timings.
• Conduct competitor and market reviews to inform promotional messaging and onsite execution.
• Complete staging and go-live checks, maintain trading documentation, and track the impact of changes.

Requirements

• Commercial curiosity and the ability to turn performance insights into clear actions.
• Experience operating in a fast-paced, reactive trading environment while balancing planned and emerging priorities.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and translate trading priorities into marketing and onsite actions.
• Confidence using data to make recommendations and challenge existing plans.
• Experience with ContentSquare, CMI, GA4, and Excel is beneficial.
