Product Development Manager, Insecticide

Location: China; remote. Role location: Guangzhou / Guangxi (Nanning).

What you will do

• Lead insecticide product development projects in China, including budget proposals, protocol design, trial planning, data uploading, analysis, and project summaries.
• Coordinate herbicide, fungicide, and biological product trials in southern and western China.
• Manage relationships with trial cooperators to complete field trials and obtain high-quality, reliable results.
• Collect trial data and pictures, prepare progress summaries, and upload data to the Field Trial Management System.
• Collaborate with the China R&D team, AP and Global product development managers, and the reporting manager.
• Support related product training, technology transfer, and other business functions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, preferably in Agriculture, Plant Protection, or a related major.
• At least 7 years of professional experience in product development, preferably in insecticides.
• Knowledge of pesticides, fruit and vegetable pest management solutions, and insecticide field-trial methods.
• Ability to independently conduct and evaluate fruit and vegetable insecticide trials, as well as fungicide and herbicide trials.
• Ability to quickly learn and use English data-analysis software and data-management systems.
• Good communication skills and English reading, writing, and speaking skills, including the ability to prepare English presentations.
• Good pesticide technical knowledge, new product development experience, teamwork, communication, responsibility, and awareness of chemical stewardship.
