Adjunct Instructor - Sociology

Location: Texarkana, Texas, United States; teaching may be face-to-face, web-enhanced, hybrid, or online.

Compensation: $2,400 per undergraduate section with a master’s degree; $2,900 per undergraduate section with a PhD.

What you will do

• Teach Sociology courses, potentially including Globalization and Social Change and Marriage and Family.
• Deliver courses in face-to-face, web-enhanced, hybrid, or online formats.
• Load course content, including assessments and lecture modules.
• Grade student work and meet with students.
• Submit grades on time and meet census and grade deadlines.
• Complete additional course administration as needed.

Requirements

• For undergraduate courses, a master’s degree in Sociology or a related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Sociology.
• For graduate courses, a doctorate or terminal degree in Sociology or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Sociology.
• Degrees and relevant coursework must be from a regionally accredited institution.
• Submit a resume or CV, graduate-level transcripts, and at least two professional references.
• Employment is contingent on credential verification and completion of a criminal history check.
