Adjunct Instructor - Humanities

Location: Texarkana, Texas, United States; courses may be taught face-to-face, web-enhanced, hybrid, or online.

Compensation: $2,400 per undergraduate section with a master’s degree or $2,900 per undergraduate section with a PhD.

What you will do

• Teach Humanities courses during 5-, 8-, 10-, or 16-week academic terms.
• Deliver instruction in face-to-face, web-enhanced, hybrid, or online formats.
• Load course content, including assessments and lecture modules.
• Grade student work and meet with students.
• Submit grades and complete census and grade deadlines.
• Coordinate additional course administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a related field for undergraduate-level courses.
• At least 18 graduate-level credit hours in the teaching discipline.
• Degree and coursework must be from a regionally accredited institution.
• Resume or CV, graduate-level transcripts, and at least two professional references are required.
• Employment is contingent on credential verification and completion of a criminal history investigation.
