TL;DR
Intern (ECM) (Equity Capital Markets): Supporting legal work in the Beijing office through legal research, due diligence, translation, and preparation of memoranda and documents in Chinese and English with an accent on precise bilingual legal writing. Focus on conducting detailed research, managing multiple tasks under pressure, and contributing to equity capital markets matters.
Location: Beijing office; available to work five days a week and willing to travel as required

International legal practice operating through affiliated legal entities, including a foreign law firm representative office in China.
What you will do
- Conduct legal research and due diligence for Equity Capital Markets matters.
- Provide legal translation in Chinese and English.
- Prepare legal memoranda and draft legal documents in both languages.
- Manage assigned tasks accurately and perform effectively under pressure.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a 2027 or 2028 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
- Exceptional writing skills in both English and Chinese are required.
- Demonstrate strong legal research and writing capabilities.
- Be available to work five days a week in the Beijing office and willing to travel as required.
- Show attention to detail, fast learning ability, interpersonal skills, organisation skills, and effective task management.
Nice to have
- PRC bar qualification.
- Prior experience at a law firm or in-house legal team.
