Production Associate (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in DeLand, Florida, USA. Second shift: 3:10 PM–11:10 PM, Monday–Friday.

What you will do

• Inspect, cut, and lay up dynalloy, fibermet, and continuous rolls.
• Perform final inspection, trimming, and packaging of media products.
• Operate calendaring equipment, hydrogen furnaces, and vacuum furnaces.
• Stage and unstage media sheets and continuous rolls according to manufacturer and thickness specifications.
• Complete accurate paperwork and production records while following safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in similar work centers and accurate use of calipers and micrometers.
• Good mechanical skills, troubleshooting ability, and adherence to standard work practices.
• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for at least 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 lb and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with steel microfibers.
