MEP Project Manager II - Mission Critical

Location: Dallas, United States. Verification of employment authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Travel is required as needed to execute projects.

What you will do

• Manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection scopes across mission-critical construction projects.
• Lead MEP preconstruction, including bid procedures, estimating, scheduling, utility coordination, and subcontractor qualification.
• Buy out, award, contract, and coordinate MEP subcontractor work while managing changes, payments, budgets, invoices, and owner pay applications.
• Coordinate MEP subcontractors through BIM or 3-D construction coordination and manage submittals, RFIs, material tracking, testing, inspections, and deviation reports.
• Lead MEP quality and safety planning, communicate project risks, and support field scheduling and project team development.
• Lead commissioning activities, including factory witness testing, onsite inspections, startup, functional testing, integrated testing, and project closeout.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of construction project management experience focused on MEP systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or construction science, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of complex data center MEP systems and the ability to work with limited supervision.
• Working knowledge of Procore, P6, and other construction management tools.
• Authorization to work in the United States must be verified.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed, with professionalism, honesty, and integrity.

Nice to have

• Experience with early turnover dates, third-party commissioning handoffs, and data center critical work MOP processes.
• Mission-critical data center project experience.
• Strong proactive communication and customer relationship skills.
