TL;DR
Project Manager, Engineering (Mission Critical) (Data Centers/MEP): Leading multidisciplinary engineering teams delivering technical design packages for mission critical and data center projects with an accent on uptime, scalability, security, power distribution, and cooling systems. Focus on coordinating complex design-build phases, validating redundancy and energy-efficiency requirements, and conducting technical reviews and site inspections.
Location: Phoenix, AZ, United States; travel to project and owner sites across the country is required.

What you will do
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering and design teams delivering Tier-certified and mission critical facility projects.
- Coordinate design reviews and cross-discipline collaboration to maintain technical quality and delivery accuracy.
- Work with clients to define operational goals, redundancy requirements, energy efficiency targets, and capacity plans.
- Develop and review process and MEP engineering designs for data center cooling, power distribution, and systems integration.
- Oversee submittal reviews, RFI responses, construction administration, field verifications, inspections, and technical audits.
- Present engineering solutions and project updates to clients, internal teams, and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering.
- 10+ years of engineering design experience, including at least 3 years in mission critical or data center environments.
- 2+ years managing multidisciplinary design teams, preferably on fast-track design-build projects.
- Strong knowledge of power systems, CRAH and CRAC cooling, chilled water systems, and BMS integration.
- Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier levels, NFPA 70E, ASHRAE 90.1, ASHRAE TC 9.9, and related regulatory frameworks.
- Ability and willingness to travel to project and owner sites across the United States.
