MEP Manager

Location: Falls Church, Virginia, United States; willing to travel

Salary: $95,000–$135,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee MEP delivery across multiple construction projects and support site operations teams.
• Assist with mechanical and electrical trade bidding and manage equipment procurement.
• Develop MEP critical path schedules and coordinate construction, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Develop and manage MOP activities in live environments and lead energization planning.
• Manage MEP quality control, audit projects for compliance, and promote safety policies.
• Build client and subcontractor relationships while staffing, mentoring, training, and evaluating team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in mechanical or electrical system construction.
• At least 6 years of combined experience in mission-critical construction, hospital construction, MEP project management, or system startup and commissioning.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, coordination, and scheduling skills.
• Experience with preconstruction and equipment procurement, plus effective use of computer and software technology.
• Ability to work independently, manage and evaluate team performance, and travel as needed.
