Contracts Engineer (Actuators)

What you will do

• Manage customer orders from receipt through delivery and keep customers updated on order progress.
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet customer requirements.
• Prioritize and expedite engineered orders through production release.
• Investigate and resolve customer quality complaints through to resolution.
• Interpret customer requirements, conduct contract reviews, and resolve order queries.
• Negotiate delivery schedules and special requirements with customers and internal departments.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent mechanical engineering qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Technical knowledge and experience in electric actuator contract management, including electric and pneumatic actuator products.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, material pricing, revenue forecasting, and commercial terminology.
• Background in customer service and manufacturing or engineering contractual environments.
• Fluent English, strong negotiation and communication skills, attention to detail, customer focus, and the ability to work under pressure.

• Knowledge of Dynamics 365.
