What you will do
- Own the full life cycle of customer projects, including new implementations, product updates, change requests, and transition to customer support or success.
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and outcomes with delivery, product, technical, and implementation teams.
- Coordinate project schedules and deliverable milestones with customers and internal technical teams across multiple time zones.
- Track dependencies, risks, issues, software release conflicts, and project performance; communicate status to leadership, project leads, and clients.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration, motivate contributors, and maintain customer satisfaction throughout delivery.
- Identify improvements to project management and deployment processes and support strategic planning and custom client solutions.
Requirements
- Project management experience in a SaaS company, including delivery of complex initiatives on time and within budget.
- Experience in wildland fire, forestry, electric utilities, or a related discipline.
- Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Notion, and Jira, or equivalent software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps.
- Strong problem-solving, verbal, written, presentation, leadership, management, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated success working remotely and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Nice to have
- Experience with Agile development processes.
- Formal project management training.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, natural science, or another technical field.
- PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
