Location: Hybrid role based primarily at the Parklands office in Bolton, with attendance at the office at least one day per week. The organisation also has a presence in Birmingham and Liverpool.

What you will do
- Supervise Counter Fraud file handlers and maintain accurate technical development records.
- Mentor and coach handlers to strengthen technical knowledge, expertise, and profitable file-handling practices.
- Support pre-audit assessments for external client and internal audits.
- Identify training needs and coordinate feedback with Team Leaders and the Technical Manager.
- Develop new starters toward the required financial authority and manage technical performance improvement plans.
- Escalate opportunities for strategic litigation and complex case referrals while handling a reduced caseload of specialist claims valued over £25,000.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor or CILEX lawyer with the necessary practice rights.
- Experience handling Defendant motor claims, including Counter Fraud matters.
- Previous experience managing an independent caseload.
- Ability to plan and prioritise workloads, remain calm under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent listening and verbal communication skills, with the ability to anticipate problems and identify solutions.
- Ability to comply with the SRA Code of Conduct 2016.
