Quality Technician - Weekend Shift

Location: Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, USA; onsite weekend shift, Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM

Salary: $26.00–$30.00 per hour, including a $3.00 per hour shift premium, depending on technician level.

What you will do

• Facilitate parts quality processes and inspect parts entering the facility.
• Lead problem solving, corrective actions, and resolutions for basic to complex quality issues.
• Implement process improvements and support quality system performance.
• Lead adherence to Quality Control Plans and mistake-proofing requirements.
• Conduct process and product audits and participate in MRB reviews.
• Support gage and tool calibration, including Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R), data collection, reporting, and analysis.

Requirements

• Quality Technician I: high school diploma or equivalent and 0–3 years of quality experience.
• Quality Technician II: associate’s degree or equivalent and 3+ years of quality experience.
• Quality Technician III: bachelor’s degree preferred and 5+ years of quality experience or Certified Quality Technician certification preferred.
• Knowledge of drawings, wiring, schematics, and PC tools; advanced levels require experience with PPAP, PFMEA, Quality Control Plans, mistake proofing, NMR, ECR, SPC, ISO processes, CMM programming, and quality control tools.
• Ability to communicate quality issues and countermeasures, train or mentor others as applicable, and maintain professional rapport with peers and support groups.
• Ability to stand and walk regularly, work with hands and controls, occasionally bend or reach, lift up to 25–50 pounds, perform computer-based work, and travel occasionally.
