Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist (Pharmaceuticals)

Location: Vienna, Austria; the position is based in the CEE Hub and includes remote work options.

Salary: gross annual salary starting at EUR 53,000, with a higher salary possible depending on qualifications and experience; performance bonuses and benefits are included.

What you will do

• Coordinate temperature-controlled international transports for the CEE, Baltic, Balkan, CIS, and Mongolia regions in line with GDP quality guidelines.
• Support demand planning, replenishment, supply reviews, and stock coverage management for selected countries.
• Identify and implement mitigation actions to prevent supply disruptions, including stock-outs and batch recalls.
• Prepare and maintain transport, customs, export, invoicing, and credit-note documentation.
• Coordinate logistics processes with Finance/Controlling, Regulatory, and Pharmaceutical Affairs teams, including API dispatches and dangerous goods.
• Manage consignment stock closures and oversee the annual inventory at the external warehouse.

Requirements

• Completed commercial or business education.
• Professional experience in logistics or export, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word; experience with IBP is required and SAP knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong numerical aptitude, precision, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal English and German are required.
• Customer-service orientation and the ability to work collaboratively across departments and countries.
