What you will do
- Partner with the Malaysia Surgical Vision commercial team on financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and decision-making.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and rolling estimate cycles, including risk and opportunity analysis.
- Support monthly close activities, accrual reviews, variance analysis, reporting, and financial commentary.
- Provide finance support for distributor pricing, payments, inventory topics, contract reviews, and commercial agreements.
- Own Southeast Asia OPEX planning and tracking and support a selected smaller SEA market such as Indonesia or the Philippines.
- Improve financial processes, reporting, analytics, visualization, and automation through digital tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in FP&A, commercial finance, or distributor-managed markets.
- Demonstrated experience in financial business partnering.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with ERP and planning systems such as SAP or Anaplan is preferred.
- Ability to work proactively and accurately in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Nice to have
- Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or another regulated industry.
- Knowledge of financial modeling, vendor management, expense controls, and financial risk management.
