Senior Audit Professional

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia; willingness to travel up to 50%, mainly within the region and occasionally intercontinentally.

What you will do

• Execute risk-based audits across project execution, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and other business functions.
• Assess internal controls, financial systems, governance, risk management, and operational processes.
• Apply data analytics and visualization techniques to identify trends, anomalies, emerging risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze findings, identify root causes, and present actionable recommendations to improve performance and mitigate risks.
• Contribute to audit engagements from planning through reporting and deliver high-quality assurance outcomes.
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships and support the development of data-driven internal audit capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, engineering, data analytics, business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in internal or external audit, finance, accounting, controlling, project management, manufacturing operations, risk management, internal controls, compliance, or related areas.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and prioritization skills.
• Understanding of business processes, operational risks, and internal control concepts; IFRS experience is advantageous.
• Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, or CISA is preferred.
• Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills are required. A collaborative mindset and intercultural awareness are expected.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Celonis, Python, or similar data analytics, visualization, and business intelligence tools.
• Potential and interest in developing toward future leadership roles.
