Lead Production Technician - Overnights (Cannabis)

Location: Litchfield, Illinois, United States; onsite, Monday–Thursday, 6:30 PM–5:30 AM

Pay: $21.25–$24 per hour

What you will do

• Lead Packaging Technicians through daily filling, sealing, labeling, and packaging operations.
• Oversee production of vaporizers, RSO syringes, capsules, tablets, concentrates, and related cannabis products.
• Manage inventory, product records, batch-specific labeling, and seed-to-sale tracking.
• Monitor hourly and daily productivity metrics and coordinate production with demand plans and schedules.
• Train and mentor team members while promoting accountability and continuous improvement through 5S and waste reduction.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment and enforce safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Strong reliability, work ethic, honesty, organization, communication, and leadership skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of weights and measurements.
• Ability to follow and enforce standard operating procedures and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work onsite during the overnight schedule and tolerate potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing or production experience.
• Experience leading a team of 12 or more employees.
• Six or more months of cannabis filling and packaging experience.
• Familiarity with compliance, product integrity, and safety protocols.
