Sr. Staff IAM Architect

Location: Sunrise, Florida, United States

Salary: $145,600–$209,300 per year, plus potential performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards.

What you will do

• Define and maintain enterprise IAM reference architectures, standards, and secure design patterns.
• Design scalable identity lifecycle, governance, authentication, authorization, and access solutions.
• Develop RBAC and ABAC models and secure access patterns for workforce, partner, third-party, privileged, and machine identities.
• Modernize identity providers and expand PAM capabilities, including just-in-time access, credential vaulting, session management, and privileged account governance.
• Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk mitigation for identity initiatives while supporting audit and compliance requirements.
• Provide architectural guidance, documentation, and mentorship while collaborating with security, engineering, cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise technology teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in IAM, security architecture, or related security engineering roles, including 3+ years designing enterprise IAM architectures.
• Deep expertise in IGA, PAM, identity lifecycle management, and authentication and authorization frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP, SCIM, Zero Trust, RBAC, ABAC, cloud identity architecture, service accounts, and machine identity management.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and the ability to communicate architectural concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with Saviynt, SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Ping Identity, or similar IAM technologies.
• CISSP, CIAM, CISM, Microsoft Identity & Access Administrator, CIMP, or related certification.
• Experience with SaaS or large-scale cloud-native environments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and DevSecOps practices.
