MedTech Field Service Technician Device Upgrade or Engineer (MedTech)

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States; 100% travel required across local, regional, and national locations

Salary: $27.00–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Install, update, configure, and service medical devices, including infusion pumps and batteries, in hospital environments.
• Organize and test hardware, software, network products, and medical device configurations.
• Provide ongoing communication and technical customer support to hospital staff.
• Conduct routine post-installation checks, record test data, and submit daily documentation.
• Support assignment-based projects with a requested commitment of 40 or more hours per week and overtime as needed.
• Travel locally, regionally, and nationally; travel time is paid.

Requirements

• Associate degree, equivalent military training, or equivalent biomedical or technical field service experience, with 3–5 years of field experience.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot project setup, technical issues, and closeouts across multiple software programs.
• Professional communication, business acumen, self-motivation, organization, and time-management skills.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license and personal vehicle required for assignments up to three hours from home; driving records are reviewed before hire.
• Must be able to meet hospital vendor credentialing and immunization requirements, including vaccination documentation or completion of required vaccinations.
• Must be located within one hour of a major airport; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Background in biomedical, networking, military, healthcare, or field-based technician work.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneNote.
